The very rare and collectable 1994 Buffalo Trace Distillery O.F.C. Old Fashioned Copper Bourbon Whiskey was distilled in 1994. These O.F.C. vintage releases are made as an homage to the original O.F.C. Distillery, a National Historic Landmark that is known today as Buffalo Trace Distillery. Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. is who christened the O.F.C. Distillery in 1870, and this legendary whiskey brand has been revered ever since.
This very rare and collectable bourbon honors the O.F.C. Distillery, a National Historic Landmark that is known today as Buffalo Trace Distillery. The most state-of-the-art distillery of its era featured copper fermentation vats, column stills, and a first-of-its-kind steam heating system that is still used to make award-winning bourbon whiskey in our aging warehouses today.
Each of the O.F.C. Vintage whiskeys are presented in a hand cut, beveled crystal decanter that has been inlaid with actual copper lettering. The 1994 release consists of only 1,085 bottles. This bottle was bottled at 45% ABV - 90 Proof

TASTING NOTES
Tasting notes for this bourbon describe cherry cordial on the nose followed by caramel and slightly smoked-oak. Dark chocolate, tobacco leaves and dates are found on the palate, followed by a lingering finish of leather, black pepper and cinnamon.
